Cancer Day for Primary Care

Cancer Day for Primary Care 2026

Cancer Day for Primary Care is a biennial educational event aimed at enhancing primary care provider knowledge on early diagnosis and work up of suspected cancer, and enhancing communication and relationship building between primary care providers and oncology specialists.

For years, Cancer Day for Primary Care has offered certified sessions focused on practical, evidence-based updates in cancer care; including screening programs, diagnostic pathways, referral guidelines, and management of treatment side effects.

By improving knowledge and communication between primary care and cancer specialists, the event supports early detection, timely referrals, and better patient experience outcomes across Manitoba. This professional development event aligns with CCMB’s Refreshed Roadmap to Cancer Control for Manitoba 2025 across all priority areas.

Join us for this high-quality educational program.
